Adult Care Home Pre-Remodel Inspection Service
This service includes:

• Inspection of the home to both to determine and document if there was work done on the house, and to provide guidance on remodeling options to add additional bedrooms, install an ADA-compliant ramp, lower windows, add an addition, etc.​
• Livability and safety assessment to determine options for livability for residents and the live-in provider, and also identifying any possible fire and life safety issues;
• Permit history verification to determine if any work was possibly done without permit based on the findings of the inspection, as this could create issues when you apply to get licensed. This may include us pulling permit history, communicating with the local building department and checking the County assessor's office;​ and
• Professional Recommendations for remodeling your home based on adult foster care home requirements, building code and standard construction techniques.

Working with Alyssa is very beneficial to individuals who would like to start a care home. It helps seeing her first because she has so much information and ways to help, including with the paperwork. I’m happy I had the opportunity to find someone to go over my application before I submitted it to DHS. It was very helpful.
